Guided Float Switch – Overview The Guided Float Switch is used to control the level of liquid in tanks economically. The switch is virtually maintenance-free and is compact in design. The reed contacts have high switch capacity. The reed contact in the sensor body is switched with a magnet. The switching function (N/O contact and N/C contact) is determined by the installation position. The function can be changed by simply turning 180°. It is especially suited for the simple, mechanical monitoring of fill levels in very small tanks. The housing is made of PP or PVDF making it resistant to several chemicals. Applications include: Cooling Water, Demineralised Water, Water/Glycol Solutions and Chemicals.
