Throttle Valve – Overview This throttle valve is compact in design with robust construction. It has good control characteristics, ensuring high operational safety. It has good chemical resistance thanks to highly resistant plastics (PVC, PP, PVDF). It requires virtually no maintenance and can be installed in any position. A spindle with a cone narrows the cross-section of the opening in the housing, thus restricting the volume flow to the desired value. The setting is made using a tool (screwdriver or flat material), having the added advantage that the set value cannot be changed unintentionally. Applications include chemical dosing and water treatment. Suitable for use in neutral or aggressive media with a small quantity of particles/solids.
