Platinum Plus is a premium gold professional body filler that offers superior all-surface adhesion to steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, E-Coat, fiberglass and SMC. Can be applied to cured sanded 2K primers. Platinum Plus Filler is stain-free and is perfect for use under base coat/clear coat systems or wherever superior results are desired. Special adhesion promoter, produces the greatest adhesion available for a tight grip to galvanized steel and helps maintain the OEM corrosion warranty. 3M™ Platinum Plus Filler 31181 provides superior adhesion to all metals, including the most challenging ones such as galvanised steel and aluminium. This filler has been formulated with an adhesion promoter that also achieves maximum adhesion on E-coat, fibreglass, SMC, cured epoxy, and urethane primers. Made for exceptionally simple applications, this creamy and pinhole-free filler spreads quickly, easily, and smoothly. Filler is processed and packaged in a vacuum environment to ensure complete purity. Auto body repair projects are easy to keep on schedule with this fast curing filler that allows sanding in as few as 15 to 20 minutes and may be painted after 45 minutes. Filler is stain-free and tack-free. Mixing:  The correct hardener to filler ratio is 2% by weight. Mix filler and hardener on a clean, non-absorbent surface. Apply a 76mm diameter circle, 12mm thick of filler to 76mm strip of cream hardener. Mix throughly to a uniform colour. Gel time/setting time is approximately 3-5minutes at 75F or 24C.
