Description Car System KS-1050 Stone Chip Protection. 500ml Stone chip Aerosol CARSYSTEM Stone Chip Protection KS-1050 is a high quality overpaintable protective coating against stone chip damage. It is used for protection against stone chips on the underbody and all visible parts of a car. Application KS-1050 is ideally suited for all vehicle parts, e.g. on spoilers and doors as a stone chip protection and on boots, engine bonnets and underbody as a corrosion protection (also suitable for PVC). Product data Packaging: 500 ml spray can Colour: grey Specific gravity: 0.78 g/ml Working pressure: 4 to 5 bar Dust dry: after ca. 30 minutes Tack free: after ca. 60 minutes Hardened/Overpaintable: after ca. 2 hours Directions for use: Remove existing paint and rust and sand the surface. Thoroughly remove rust and grease and clean the surface. Cover areas not to be treated, e.g. exhaust systems, brakes and springs. Shake the container thoroughly before use. Apply at room temperature (15-25°C). Spray from a distance of 25-30 cm. The drying time depends on the ambient temperature, the air humidity and the layer thickness.
