Description Evercoat Kitty Hair. Long Strand Fiberglass Reinforced Body Filler. Net Weight 5.44kg Best known for its bridging capabilities in rebuilding shattered fiberglass and for reinforcing torn or rusted areas of sheet metal. Formulated with long strands of chopped fiberglass. Double the strength of standard fillers. Waterproof. Rustproof. Can be used with or without fiberglass cloth or mat. Should be finished with Rage® and/or Metal Glaze®. Blue cream hardener included. SUBSTRATES: Steel Galvanized Steel Aluminum SMC Fiberglass Most Rigid Plastics   PREPARATION: Clean and degrease the entire panel to be repaired with soap and water, followed by a mild cleaning solvent to remove oil, grease, and wax. Surface must be thoroughly dry before repairing or applying material. Keep the repair area small. Use 40-80 grit to remove the paint and featheredge.   MIXING: Mix the product before using. Knead the cream hardener. Measure hardener 2% by weight (add a ribbon of cream hardener from edge to edge across the center of a 4” diameter puddle). Puddles larger than 4” (10 cm) in diameter will require additional hardener. Mix thoroughly until uniform color is achieved. Approximate setting time is 10-15 minutes @ 72°F-80°F (22°C)   APPLICATION: Apply in layers with even firm pressure to force into repair area. Do not apply all at once.   FINISH: Sand filler with 80 grit sandpaper. Apply a finish coat of any Evercoat lightweight body filler or polyester putty     TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Appearance Long strand fibrous paste Sand Time 20 – 25 min.
