Active Ingredients: Aquaclav 625mg- Amoxicillin 500mg/Clavulanate 125mg Mechanism Of Action: Amoxicillin/Clavulanic acid is a combination of beta-lactam antibacterial penicillin and a beta lactamase inhibitor. Amoxicillin is a bacterial cell well active agent that inhibits symptoms by binding to penicillin binding proteins and inhibits the cross linking of bacterial peptidoglycan, the calvulanate inhibits beta lactamase producing bacteria, allowing extended spectrum of action, against both gram negative and positive micro-organisms. Not effective against Mycoplasma and Legionella spp. Indications: Lower respiratory tract infection, Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, Acute bacteria sinusitis, Skin abscess, Diabetic foot, Cellulitis, Cystitis, Acute otitis media, Bone and joint infections, Surgical prophylaxis.
