The SLB-EXT 5xHAL is a next-generation 32-bit controller for use with the AltMill, and is open source for other CNCs brands using closed-loop stepper motors. Our SLB-EXT features: Faster movement and jogging speeds Quieter motors CNC status lights with support for external lighting Safe E-stop depowers motors and disables accessories Programmable action buttons to suit your workflow Faster probing and higher sensitivity with touch plates Higher level spindle control using RS485** Smoother and faster laser motion and engraving Independent 4th axis rotary output for simultaneous 4-axis cutting USB-C and Ethernet connectivity to computer with extensive shielding and onboard ferrites to improve communication reliability *Huanyang v1 and P2A, and H-100 currently tested to work out-of-the-box. More to be added in the future. Note: The SLB-EXT does not ship with a power supply. The SLB-EXT requires a 48 volt DC 10 amp power supply.
