This allows the user to “lock” the drive unit and splitter cone to the excavator mount enabling the log splitter attachment to work in the same manner as a dedicated splitter such as a Lasco or Black Splitter. This gives the user the same log splitting capabilities as a dedicated unit with the advantgae of increaed torque for splitting wood the the ability to quickly change to an auger attachment.
